The risk of unintentional sidetracking, vibrations & drill pipe whirl of bottom hole assembly is a crucial challenge faced by the oil and gas industry.
UDT presents Integral Blade Stabilizer (IBS) that mechanically stabilizes the bottom hole assembly (BHA) in the borehole in order to avoid unintentional sidetracking, vibrations, and ensure the quality of the hole being drilled. The integral blade and body are made from a single piece of material hence eliminate the risk of leaving components or pieces in the hole. IBS is used in the bottom hole assembly to perform reaming operation for smooth passage of casing pipes in the wellbore. IBS is manufactured and tested as per stringent requirements of API 7-1 specification.
The wear and tear of a stabilizer blade can lead to operational downtime and adds to the replacement and equipment costs.
To address this issue, UDT presents a Replaceable Sleeve Stabilizer that consists of a replaceable sleeve mounted on a single mandrel. The sleeve can be changed easily on the drill floor without the need for special tools. This saves time and improves drilling efficiency. A single mandrel can be used with sleeves of different sizes hence reduces replacement and equipment costs. A replaceable sleeve stabilizer is used in the bottom hole assembly to perform reaming operation for smooth passage of casing pipes in the wellbore.
Threading, inspection, and gauging of end connections of mandrels of replaceable sleeve stabilizers are done as per the stringent requirements of API 7-2 specification.
